In conjunction with the Bondi Winter Magic Festival in July, there will be a series of events throughout Bondi Beach. Market days are as usual Tuesday to Sunday. If you wish to have a stall during this time, especially winter themed, you will be most welcome.

The Bondi Winter Magic festival is back on this year again. During July the ice skating rink will again be the main feature. All local businesses are encouraged to participate.

23/02/11 The market will move back to Roscoe Street Mall from across the road in Bondi Park.
December 2010
29/12/10 Due to the New year's event's temporary construction taking over the area we have been using, we will be trading in Roscoe Street Mall, until and including 1st January 2011. From 2nd January 2011, we will be back across Campbell Parade until further notice.

23-29/08/10 The Taste of Orange festival will once again come to Bondi. There will be a showcase of the Orange region, culminating in a food, wine, art and music event at the Bondi Pavilion on Sunday 29th August
10/08/2010 Whilst the upgrade of Roscoe Street Mall is being completed, the market will be temporarily located on the other side (beach side) of Campbell Parade from Roscoe Street. The dates are still to be confirmed, but at the moment the first day is to be Saturday 14th August, 2010.

As part of the Bondi Winter Magic Festival: during the schools holidays there will be a skating rink opposite Hall Street on the grass on the beach side of Campbell Parade. This has since happened and was generally considered to be a great success, next year a ski slope...........

Throughout June 2010 we are having a special Bondi Winter Magic (BWM) Festival Promotion. In collaboration with BWM Festival's Wicked Wednesday late night shopping, the market will give a FREE stall to traders on any Wednesday in June 2010. Furthermore any stall holder who trades from 3pm to at least 8pm on a Wednesday will receive a 20% discount the following weekend.

9/03/10 The inaugural Bondi Sizzle Festival was held. It featured a garage sale trail all over Bondi.

30/04/2010: Stalls now cost $20 (per day) Tuesdays to Fridays (3pm starts) and $50 (per day) on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays (12pm starts).

21/02/10 South American Festival to be held in Bondi. A very colourful annual event; this year there will be many Latin American dances on show, including: Salsa, Tango, Merengue and Samba. One or two people from the market with a South American heritage will be involved.
08/02/10 A Bondi Winter Festival meeting was held. Retail businesses in the Bondi Beach Basin area are encouraged to get involved, please contact Adam, Terry or Mary-Anne from the Bondi and Districts Chamber of Commerce. There is a strong possibility of having a skating rink (opposite Hall Street on the grass) in July 2010.

02/02/10 From Wednesday 3rd February stall rents will be $30 per day Tuesday to Friday and $70 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays - for all stallholders. This will be reviewed in April.

30/11/09 Charity Donations. The BBCNM donated $1000 to WAYS, who provide support and assistance to Waverley's youth; and $1000 to Norman Andrews House (please see the picture on our photo gallery page), who do the same for the area's disadvantaged.

13/10/09 The market's Annual General Meeting was held.
12/10/09 After twelve years in the job, Robin has decided to resign as manager of the market to concentrate on his own business. For the time being Avishai will be acting manager. Andrew will possibly take over the role for the summer period.

14/09/09 The Festival Of The Winds was again a success this year, with entries from around Australia and the world. A great day for the kids, there was enough wind to fill the skies with colour.

15/08/09 Today the market will go over to the other side of Campbell Parade, just for the day; as the local council will be using our regular area for a public information day.
09/08/09 Around 70,000 people participated in this year's City to Surf fun run, which finishes at Bondi Beach.

Throughout the month The Bondi Bohemia Festival brightened the dark winter days. For next year the Chamber of Commerce is considering a larger and longer Festival possibly to be named The Bondi Winter Magic Festival. There are a series of meetings about this subject. The BBCNM donated $500 to WAYS (Waverley Action Youth Services). We wish them all the best in their fight for continued Federal funding - please contact them if you wish to write a letter of support to your local Federal MP.
$500 was also donated to Norman Andrew's House. They provide support for local disadvantaged people.
