Bondi Beach is famous for it's diverse range of restaurants and cafes. There are at least 78 to choose from. Come down and sample the cuisine, of course browse though the market first!

When walking along the coast don't forget to check out the Aboriginal  Rock Carvings, the rock pools and the children's paddling pool.

The Bondi Pavilion was built in 1929, it is very close to the market and worth a look. it often has local community events and an art gallery. Also there is a theater upstairs and a amphitheater.

The headland walk from Bondi To Bronte is very popular and spectacular. On the headlands in certain months such as September crowds can be seen gathering, Why? Whale watching!

Surfing is very popular in the area. Some of our stallholders can be regularly seen down in the surf.

Festivals and events in Bondi:

February: the colourful and musical South American Festival

June to August:
The Bondi Winter Magic Festival has events for three months including a skate rink in July.
Lights appear in shop fronts mainly along Campbell Parade and Hall Street.

August:
City to Surf - the fun run which ends up at Bondi Beach. It attracts huge crowds but isn't for the faint-hearted!

The Taste of Orange Festival at the end of August showcases the Orange region, with food, wine, art and music.

September:  The world renowned kite flying day the "Festival of the Winds" is very popular, especially with children. The market often has kite sellers during this time. Funnily enough it is often windy on this day!

October: Sculpture by the Sea, growing exponentially by the year, this is a series of sculptures set out along the coastal walk from Bondi extending South to Bronte and beyond. Definitely worth a look if you are in the area. There are prizes and awards and some of them can be purchased.
